Pavonia Safaris · Hotel pickup in Nairobi
An early game drive in Nairobi National Park followed by hand-feeding at the Giraffe Centre, with hotel pickup and a professional guide. Pick it if you want the park and the giraffes without fitting the day around the 11am elephant hour.

Two stops, done properly. Your guide picks you up at your hotel and drives into Nairobi National Park early, when the listing says wildlife is most active and the light is soft. The game drive takes most of the 6 hours: you may see lions, rhinos, zebras and buffalo, the animals the listing names, and plenty of birds. Then the Giraffe Centre, where you feed Rothschild's giraffe, now usually classified as the Nubian giraffe, by hand from the platform.
You choose a shared group-joining seat or a private trip for up to 6 people, and the price changes with the option. There is Wi-Fi on board, though the listing warns the network in the park can drop. Lunch and a stop at the Kazuri bead workshop are optional extras at the end.
The two entry fees are paid on the day: the park at US$80 per non-resident adult under the 2025 KWS rates (Legal Notice 160 of 2025), paid online through eCitizen; check KWS or eCitizen before you go, and the Giraffe Centre at KSh 1,500 per non-resident adult ($15 per the listing). Lunch is extra, and so is an airport pickup or drop-off at $30, which makes this a neat fit for a long layover.
Your guide collects you in Nairobi. Airport pickup is possible for $30, per the listing.
The longest part of the day: a guided drive across the plains, stopping for sightings and photos. You may see lions, rhinos, zebras and buffalo.
About 1.5 hours, per the itinerary: feeding from the platform and a talk on the centre's conservation work.
About an hour at a restaurant in Nairobi, paid by you.
A visit to the bead workshop to watch the craft and browse, if you choose it.
Back to your hotel, or to the airport if you booked the transfer.
★★★★★Amazing tour, pergect for my one day layover in Nairobi. I saw so much wildlife jn a few hours, and the guide, Edward, knew all about the animals, the national park, and helped me finding my way back to my apartment afterwards - also was a great laugh!
★★★★★Edward was a great guide. He tailored the tour that we had booked as a private tour exactly to our needs. Throughout the day, we had the impression that it was very important to him that we had a great safari experience in Nairobi National Park.

★★★★★Great. One of the best parks we visited in terms of wildlife density. Edward was a great guide!
